Annual holidays
Annual holidays is a common term for both winter and summer holidays.
You are entitled to an annual holiday on the basis of your period of employment. You earn your annual holiday during a holiday credit year, which stands for a period between April 1 and March 31.
The annual holiday is taken between May 2 and September 30 and the winter holiday is taken between October 1 and May 30.
The annual holiday is guaranteed by the Annual Holidays Act, but regulations on annual holidays in different collective agreements may vary.
