PAM to help members experiencing long delays for unemployment allowance
To help those members experiencing long delays for allowances, PAM will provide food assistance.
Due to the backlog of applications to PAM's Unemployment Fund, many members applying for unemployment allowance have had to wait over a month for their unemployment allowance. To help those members experiencing long delays for allowances, PAM will provide food assistance.
PAM's Unemployment Fund is currently processing first unemployment allowance applications from week 19. Due to the processing backlog, many members have had an exceptionally long wait for their first allowances, possibly making it hard to make ends meet. Therefore PAM is offering members who have waited for allowances for over a month the possibility to apply to the union for food assistance to the value of 60 euros.
The Unemployment Fund has sent out an email detailing PAM's assistance to members waiting for allowances for over a month. From now on the fund will send a similar message to members who have been waiting for allowances for over a month. The Unemployment Fund does not have an email address for all members, however, which is why the message has not reached all individuals entitled to apply for assistance.
If you have claimed unemployment allowance but you have not yet received it, and you have been waiting for over four weeks, you can apply for assistance by giving your details to PAM on this form.
