Hello SOL employees!
As a SOL employee, you are a professional in your sector. You are one of a large number of PAM members working in the cleaning sector. At Service Union United PAM we would like to know how you are getting on in your job.
This is why we have
- made over 2000 phone calls to SOL employees
- organised over 20 meetings with SOL employees around Finland, with more meetings scheduled
- met employees online at spring and summer webinars held nationwide.
Many issues have been raised in these discussions, and we would like to thank you at this stage for being active!
The regional meetings are continuing this spring. You can receive an invite any time, so stay tuned and check your email and your phone for messages.
Hotel housekeeper Abdullah took part in a regional event for SOL employees in November and joined PAM soon after. As a hotel housekeeper, he feels it is only natural to belong to the union representing service employees. Read more here.

”We want to reach out to as many SOL employees as possible because our shop stewards’ regions are so large, and otherwise we might not get to meet all our members. This is also a way to activate employees to improve their workplaces. It’s also a great opportunity to hear what a large number of workers have to say and get valuable feedback on working life.”
Janne Forsman, shop steward
Also make sure that your coworkers are PAM members! So recommend PAM to your friends.

“Our role is to listen to employees. No SOL employees should be afraid to raise problems at the workplace.
For us shop stewards it is important that problems are reported because this is the only way we can act on them.”
