Hotel, restaurant and leisure sector salaries to increase from September 1 – see instructions for checking your pay slip

Employees’ and supervisors’ wages will be increased 1.7% as of 1 September. There will be no increases to working hours supplements.

The second-year wage increases of the collective bargaining agreement, signed in April last year, will come into effect on September 1, 2024 or from the start of the first wage payment period starting after that. There will be no increases to working hours supplements.

This second-year wage increase differs from last year’s euro-based increase. Now, the wages of will be increased by a general increase of 1.7 percent.

The current collective agreements for hotel, restaurant and leisure sector are valid until March 31, 2025.

Remember to check your pay slip

Check your pay slip carefully. The employer must always provide the employee with a salary statement (salary slip, pay slip) when paying the salary.

Check it and compare it with your timesheets. Does the number of hours you have worked match? Did you get all the extras too? Make sure that your pay is correct and remember to save your pay slip.
