Holiday Pay

Holiday pay is paid for the duration of the annual holiday. Normally employees do not receive other pay during their holiday.

Most collective agreements regulate the calculation and payment of holiday pay. Thus, for further information refer to the collective agreement  for your sector.

When paying holiday pay or holiday compensation employers have to give employees a pay slip detailing the amount of holiday pay or holiday compensation and the basis on which it was determined.
