Summery Otaniemi comes alive as the lush Alvar Aalto Park transforms into an oasis of music and shared vibes for two days on July 10–11, 2026. The event invites you to Espoo to enjoy a relaxed summer day filled with great food and drinks, friends, and the festive atmosphere of midsummer.

The park provides the perfect setting: modern architecture and open lawns create an airy environment in the heart of the Otaniemi campus.

The biggest surprises of Alvari are spectacular comeback shows. Negative makes its long-awaited return in the spirit of glam rock, Tasavallan Presidentti Complete brings the legendary sound of Finnish prog rock to the stage, and Vesala returns to the spotlight strong and visually captivating.

Friday line-up:
Vesala, BEE, Happoradio, Maija Vilkkumaa, Don Johnson Big Band (more artists to be announced).

Saturday line-up:
Negative, Egotrippi, Tuure Kilpeläinen, Tasavallan Presidentti Complete, Von Hertzen Brothers, Leavings Orchestra featuring Timo Rautiainen

Beyond music, the park will host a full summer experience: a colourful carnival parade, garden games, the scents of the lemon garden, park brunch flavours, and high-quality drinks from local Espoo breweries. DIY beer tastings, picnic bags, and relaxed grassy areas complete the celebration.

The festival also features the Lemon Garden (Sitruunapuutarha) – a calmer, dedicated oasis within the event for those who appreciate spaciousness, smooth services, and a slightly more refined experience. It is a more exclusive and carefully curated alternative to the main area, without disconnecting you from the heart of the event.
