A company providing cleaning services dismissed an employee with one month’s notice. The employee contacted PAM, and the termination of the employment contract was disputed. As the company refused to reach a settlement, a PAM lawyer brought the case to the Helsinki District Court. The court also ruled that the conditions for dismissal were not met. The company was ordered to pay the employee 8,880 euros in compensation for the unlawful termination of the employment relationship. This compensation corresponds to approximately six months’ wages. In addition, the company was ordered to reimburse PAM’s legal costs, amounting to 15,245 euros.
