PAM´s Union Congress elections 2023

 

Pre-registration as a candidate has ended on May 15. You can still register as a candidate at the Candidate nomination meeting of your local branch.

Intrested, but not able to attend the nomination meeting?

You can declare yourself as a candidate by filling in this consent form (pdf). Returning the form well in advance of the meeting to your PAM regional office or to your local branch. If you don’t know which branch you belong to, you can check it in the eService.

Don’t hesitate to put your name forward

Participation in the elections or the conference itself doesn’t take any particular skills. To make an impact, what it takes above all is the experience of service sector workers, and that’s what you and the professionals in your sector have. PAM also provides training for candidates and for those attending the conference itself. Every candidacy is important and appreciated!

Frequently asked questions

PAM´s Union congress will be held in autumn 2023

The union congress is held every four years and is the highest decision-making body in PAM. The congress defines PAM’s objectives and approves priority action programm.  The congress also elects the union’s President, the personal deputy of the chairman of the Executive Committee, the Executive Committee and the Council

You can also stand as a candidate and influence what the union does!

The decisions at the congress are made by the members elected as conference representatives. The representatives are elected by election district.

Every member can stand as a candidate in the elections and get to influence what the union does at the congress.

Spring 2023

  • Candidate registration 13 March-15 May.
  • Candidate nomination meetings 29 May-18 June. 

Autumn 2023

  • Candidate gallery open 25 August–15 September. 
  • Voting period 28 August-15 September. 
  • Voting result published 19 September. 
  • Congress 24-26 October.

Voting

Members who joined the union by 31 July 2023 are entitled to vote in conference elections from 28 August to 15 September.
