The Finnish language courses for the cleaning and property services sector are aimed at people with an immigrant background who want to study Finnish. The course teaches you how to use Finnish as a working language in worklife, focusing especially on the language of your own professional field. In this course cleaning and property service sector Finnish. You will also learn about collective agreements in property service sector and rules of Finnish working life. The course emphasizes speaking, listening and reading comprehension.

The starting level for the professional Finnish language course is at least A2.1.

-Introduce yourself to the rules of the game in working life and the collective agreement in the sector

-Particular emphasis is placed on oral communication, listening and reading comprehension

-Imperfect tense and imperative forms

Passing the course requires active participation in teaching and homework. The course will be organised as face-to-face teaching at the Helsinki Ympyrätalo in Hakaniemi. The course uses the Howspace digital learning environment and other teacher materials. A small preliminary assignment will be arranged in digital learning environment Howspace before the course. You can choose time: Wednesday 29.10. at 9-10 am or Thursday 30.10 at 9-10 am.

The Finnish course for cleaning and property services will primarily be chosen from people who work in the relevant field. Before registering, please check that your membership information (contact information, workplace information and membership fees) is up to date in PAM’s electronic eService member service.

Those who pass the course will receive a certificate.

The course is suitable for you if you have previously studied for example, Suomen mestari 1 and 2 textbook.
